First attempt at using a wacom tablet. Those things are tricky! I was tempted halfway through to grab my mouse to finish it as usual, but stuck with it.

In The Fog [17 Mar 2006|11:28am]

[ mood | creative ]

I was very glad to see the announcement for this community. I always hesitate to post my work in the amateur artist community, because some people think that using programs like Poser or Photoshop is "cheating." Believe me, those programs give you all the right tools, but if you don't have skill and an artistic eye, the results can be disappointing.

Below is my latest picture. In The Fog was rendered in Poser 5 and then taken to Photoshop for an ungodly amount of postwork. :) I tried to give it a painterly feel. The larger version looks much better. It's posted at renderosity.com if anyone wants to see it. Just go to the galleries and do a search for sralos.
